How to use this portal

Sign up

Sign up using your email id and a password of atleast 7 characters. An activation link will be sent to the email provided. You can submit multiple service requests using a single email.

Activate the account

Click on the activation link received through email to activate your account.

Log in

After activation of the account, login with the email and password provided while signing up.

JKPDD provides numerous services for new/existing consumers as listed below. Select the service you desire to apply for.

Documents Required

New Electricity Connection for commercial/industrial/citizens

  1. Proof of ownership/legal occupancy of the premises
    • Copy of Sale deed in name of applicant/firm/company
    • Copy of allotment letter in name of applicant/firm/company
    • Copy of lease deed in name of applicant/firm/company
    • Copy of rent deed in name of applicant/firm/company
  2. Proof of identity
      Where the applicant is an individual (any one of the documents given below)
      • Electoral Identity Card
      • Passport
      • Driving License
      • Ration Card
      • Photo Identity Card issued by Government Agency
      • PAN Card
      • Aadhar Card
      Where the applicant is a firm company, the letter of authorization/application form shall be signed by the authorized person. In case of registered company all the directors shall be jointly and separately liable.
  3. A valid Power Availability Certificate [for Industrial Connections]

Approval of Installation of DG Set

  1. NOC from J&K Pollution Board
  2. Undertaking that Electrical Fitness Certificate from Chief Electoral Inspector Jammu and Kashmir shall be obtained before start of generation
  3. Registration Certificate of Competent Authority from applicant not registered with KPDCL

Change of Name of existing Electricity Connection

  1. Copy of latest bill duly paid (Mandatory)
  2. Proof of ownership / legal occupancy of premises(Mandatory)
  3. NOC published in print media(Mandatory)
  4. No Objection Certificate from the existing consumer (if available/possible)(wherever required)
  5. Registered deed / Succession certificate(wherever required)

Change of ownership of existing Electricity Connection

  1. Copy of latest bill duly paid (Mandatory)
  2. Proof of ownership / legal occupancy of premises(Mandatory)
  3. NOC published in print media(Mandatory)
  4. NOC from other legal heir(s)(wherever required)

Change of Category of existing Electricity Connection

  1. Proof of ownership/legal occupancy of premises
